Adventure Stem

The C-Span project was a huge project towards the beginning of the year where you had to make a video addressing the public on a serious topic that we thought the new president should address. My group and I decided to do the refugee crisis. The first couple of months that we spent on the project were doing various amounts of different research. We found out where refugees were fleeing from and what the United States was doing (if anything) to help. Our video explained the crisis and we told the public why we thought that this was such an important topic that needed to be address specifically in the United States.

The C-Span outcome was some of my best work this year. While it was difficult to piece together the overall topic in order to try and convince people that the refugee crisis was more important than some other issues, the end product turned out better than imagined. The video took a lot of time and film, and the script was hard to write in a way that seemed convincing. Trying to convince people that the US should help refugees other than the fact that it is just the right thing to do was the hardest part. In the end, our video turned out to be my best work of the year, along with my team.
