My favorite math project this year was "Design a Zoo". It was basically drawinging a blue print to a zoo that you were going to supossively create. The hard parts were calculating how much space each animal would get. You got to decide which animals you wanted by choosing from a list of all kinds of animals. You also could include gift shops, food courts, picnic areas, etc.
During my project I thought it was fun and required creative thinking. An it did. I created a zoo where you would have the reptiles, mammals, and amphibians all in seperate groups. I had to research each animals habitat so I can put it in my zoo. I think the most difficult part was measuring out all the habitats and drawing it.
