Language Arts Persuasive Techniques
The Beautiful People technique project shows that I can recognise different persuasive techniques. In this project, we had to choose a persuasive technique that is used in commercials. I chose the "beautiful people" technique because I see it frequently used in commercials, along with the "famous people" technique. I created a google draw explaining the technique and what I've seen it in.
I first found two campaigns that used the technique and added them into the google draw. This way, readers know what I was referring to. It also helps me get a better understanding of why it's used. From this I learned that it is used so people remember it like they usually do with attractive guys and women.
